The Mayfair Hotel Megabuild

A team of miners work to tunnel under the hotel by hand, while upstairs, hotel manager Eugene tries hard to ensure loyal guests remain undisturbed by the work above and below them.

It's just over halfway through the seven-year renovation project, and the team have adopted unusual measures to make way for the next stage of the audacious build – a four-storey roof extension.
